About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled COSS (Controller of Site Safety) to join our team for an important rail project here in the North West of England. This project is critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of railway operations, and we need a reliable professional to oversee the survey.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of all personnel working on the site.
Oversee the rail works, ensuring it is conducted according to safety regulations and project requirements.
Coordinate with the survey team and other relevant parties to maintain smooth operations.
Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance throughout the shift.
Report any incidents or issues promptly to the project manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
COSS certification is mandatory.
Proven experience in railway safety
Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work overnight shifts (23:00 to 09:00)
